Ya know, I think this one is probably one of the most authentic looking pieces that you've done to date. Great work as usual Kez!

Thanks, guys. I'm glad you like "Evil's Bride". I'm pretty happy with how it turned out myself. I should have it
posted to the Gallery in the next day or two.
This next one came to me as I was looking through Ray Harryhausen images.
Pretty much a no brainer since Bama had provided such a great cover for "Terror in the Navy" and all I had to do was add in
the Harryhausen tentacle.

Simple but superb -- one of your best (and most "authentic" looking) yet, Kez!

...is always a good thing. It makes it easy to make a cool Doc cover like Tentacles of Terror. So thanks for the kind words,
and once again I must redirect the compliments to the true master, James Bama, without whom I'd be up a creek without a bronze paddle.
And, I've posted Evil's Bride to the Doc Savage Fantasy Cover Gallery, so drop by to see how it stacks up with the others.

Kez, "Tentacles of Terror" is another winner in the seamlessly 'authentic' looking category!
Fangorn, don't get disheartened. You've got some funky and bold ideas of your own. However, often the images you put together aren't particularly complimentary to the overall design and you've got some ways to go in finessing the software you're using for image manipulation. Hang in there, keep playing around with images and the software and you'll make it work. |

You know, after looking at "The Doctor Returns" I was struck by the thought that it would make a GREAT story of Doc Savage and his Amazing Five, were
to come up against... THE DALEKS!
"The Exterminators: Doc Savage" It's a natural. |

bipolarber wrote:There was a third season two-part episode of the new Doctor Who series that featured the Daleks invading New York City in the 1930s, so it is pretty easy to imagine that Doc Savage got himself involved. There may definitely be a third Doctor Who/Doc Savage crossover in the works! Meanwhile, I've posted THE OPERA GHOST to the Doc Savage Fantasy Cover Galler over on the Blog from the Monsterverse:

This one goes out to Arch Stanton, who didn't think THEM was a good enough film to make his Top Ten Giant Monsters List (click

Arch Stanton wrote: Silly, Kronos is a giant ROBOT, not a giant monster. And if you eliminated all the films on your list that don't truly have GIANT monsters, then you'd have plenty of room for THEM! But I'm glad you like the cover. Kez

Kezilla58 wrote: So THEM! are okay as giant monsters, but the critters in TREMORS, X THE UNKNOWN, and MYSTERIOUS ISLAND aren't? I just don't get your reasoning since all of those movies have monsters bigger than the ants in THEM! I sorta get your reasoning on robots not being monsters, although technically incorrect. A monster is a monster, whether it's mechanical or biological. Is Talos a giant monster? He's basically just an automaton. And what about the giant robot in THE MYSTERIANS? Would you consider that a giant monster? Or MechaGodzilla? I think monsters are monsters... even if they're robots. |
