Wait, Ziro the Hutt?
Yes, Ziro and other members of the Hutt clan show up. In fact, much of the plot focuses on rescuing Jabba's kidnapped baby boy. (Who knew the intergalactic gangster was such a family man?)

When Spaceballs came out, I thought it was a little late to really workSame here. Mel Brooks fan that I am, I don't think it was one of his better outings, timing issues aside. |

The original Jabba was one of the best things about Return of the Jedi: a great special effects, and a wonderfully evil and vile character, making up for Vader's softening! |

Jabba could have/should have been the Sydney Greenstreet of the galaxy, much like Han Solo and Princess Leia invoked echoes of Bogart and Hepburn. (Kate, not
Audrey.)

This computer-animated entry in the STAR WARS franchise is every bit as synthetic as the trailers implied, but in its own way THE CLONE WARS is quite an achievement: it almost perfectly synthesizes everything that has been wrong with the films since⦠oh, well - RETURN OF THE JEDI.Read more here: http://cinefantastiqueonl...wars-the-clone-wars-2008/ |

I myself have very little desire to see this movie and I am an original Star Wars kid. Is it just me or would anybody else have LOVED to see the next three
chapters after IV-VI? If we can't get the original actors to play in a live action movie, I would whole-heartedly pay my hard earned money to see an
animated Luke, Leia, & Han. Hell, let's get the original actors to at least do voice-overs, probably be alot cheaper! These are the characters we
fell in love with. Why does George keep pushing all this clone wars crap? There was a big war. I GET IT, George!! I don't need two movies, two dvds,
and a big animated movie to tell me anymore. I'm sick of this period of time in the Star Wars universe. What about animated versions of Splinter of the
Minds Eye, or the Timothy Zahn books, Heir to the Empire series? These are the stories I'm looking for to be told on the big screen.

I`ve really come to dislike the STAR WARS films after EMPIRE STRIKES BACK. And I sure don`t want to watch a feature length cartoon about the same thing.

I think George really missed something. So many people talk about how Vader is one of the greatest villains ever created, so he decided to flesh it out and
give us a crap load of stuff about how he became Vader. The thing that I don't think he understands is that Vader is fascinating, menacing, and just all
sorts of "cool", but Anakin is just somebody that nobody really cares about. I don't think anybody really cared "how" Vader became what
he is, we just liked him as is. Personally I want more Vader and MUCH less Anakin.

Whatever I might think of the movie (or what I might think about even seeing it), it certainly captivated its core audience. My 9-year-old nephew told me it
was the coolest thing ever and that he would definitely see it with me whenever I wanted to go.
