It seems the last time I posted here was with regard to the Poe birthday celebrations in Baltimore. It looks like things are gearing up in a big way for 2009, as it's the 200th birthday celebration.
It's not official yet, but the celebration in January 2009 in Baltimore will include John Astin and his one-man Poe performance, my live adaption and performance with masks and puppets of Poe's Hop-Frog, and the release of my CD audio book, The Life of Poe. I'm very excited about all, but particularly the audio book. It's been in production, on and off, for a couple of months, and boasts a large cast, full score and sound effects, and includes some names fans of the horror genre should recognize. There will be an official announcement about The Life of Poe in October.
