1.)Immediately after the first scene that introduces Flora, Dr Cranley, and Dr. Kemp, there is a long shot of Flora and Dr, Kemp walking into another room through a doorway. However, they could have just as easily walked around the wall that appears to have not extended the whole length of Dr, Cranley's laboratory. I hope I described it the right way. It just seemed odd that they would have gone through the effort to open and shut a door if they could have walked around a short wall that was decorated with a little end table. Was that an oversight on the part of the camera man to have filmed such a long shot that gave the scene such a stagy kind of feel to it? If it was, why wasn't it caught by anyone else involved in the editing of the picture?
2.)During the Inn scene at the beginning of the picture there is a story related by one of the patrons about a kid that is buried in a snow drift 10 feet deep and is sucked out by a fire hose turned in reverse, everyone starts to laugh. I don't get the joke, can someone explain it?
