So, in a wise move Warner Bros. is talking with the actual comic book creators about developing DC Comics movies. Warner Bros. released the following statement;
"While we are not going to go into the specifics of the meetings, we're constantly looking at how best to exploit the DC Comics characters and properties. DC is an incredibly valuable asset to Warner Bros. and plays an important role across the entire studio by providing development and franchise opportunities for all media, including films, television, home entertainment, animation, consumer products, video games and digital platforms."
This is good news considering what happened to Superman last year. The question is, which characters should DC develop for the big screen? We know that Captain Marvel is in pre-production and that Wonder Woman has been toyed around with and taken in and out of turnaround for years now. I can't believe that The Flash and Green Lantern aren't considered franchise characters worthy of a motion picture. What do you think?
