I remember a while back some buzz on this that someone was working on it. Did anybody here ever hear what the status is?

I self-deleted my previous post. Best wishes to the makers of this film. Those maquettes are amazing sculpture! If no film is forthcoming, I would gladly buy a model kit!!

Yes, there was a proposed animated remake in works. I don't know if it's still a live project or not. Here's an article on it.

Thanks for the interesting article, Kerry.
Love those beautifully sculpted (and mislabeled) maquettes. I'm wondering if the filmmakers will attempt to secure the necessary rights from the Chaney and Lugosi estates as well. I'd hate to see a generic looking character as Talbot or the Count.

It might help the project if they realized which one was Abbott and which was Costello!

It might help the project if they realized which one was Abbott and which was Costello! My sediments zactly, Bob If they can;t get THAT part right....ehhh.. http://www.double-exposures.com/PROJECTS/AandC/Home/_htm/AandCHome.htm The Costello voice was pretty good; Abbott was OK, best I've heard so far. Monster sounded pretty lousy & plainwrap. The attempt at a Who's on First is strained, which doesn't bode well. |

What are they shooting for with this project? A 5-10 minute short or a full length feature? A short may work, but a feature length????ZZZZzzzzzzzz! Wake the
audience when it's over...

I, too, thought the Monster sounded lackluster. The Abbott and Costello weren't bad at all...Abbott sounded a little 'Jersey at times, but I guess this
project could actually work, but only as a short.
'Hey Ab-bottttt!' get practicing on that voice... |
