I'm burning some of my videotapes to DVD+R so I've been watching things like:
The Incredibly Strange Film Show (episodes covering Santo, Ray Dennis Steckler, Stuart Gordon and Tsui Hark) Fridays (a short-lived late night 1980 West Coast variant of Saturday Night Live) Reel Wild Cinema (a Something Weird Video show with host Sandra Bernhard, guests Tura Satana, David Friedman, and cut down versions of movies like Medusa Against the Sons of Hercules and The Wild Women of Wongo) Puppetoons (the stop motion shorts from George Pal) Judge Dee and the Monastery Murders (based on the Van Gulik mystery novels) Zatoichi and the Doomed Man (the Blind Swordsman to the rescue) |
