Can't see your photo, Mike. Just the word "image" appears.
Well, crap, this happened the last time, too. I can see it fine. Anybody else aye or nay?

Mike,
I couldn't see it, either. I even tried my 3-D glasses, to no avail. (Don't you hate it when something avails you naught?) Bob |

Cortney, the first thing I noticed in Frank's first photo was the painting. It looked gorgeous.
And, Mike, no picture. Try again, please? |

No pic here, Mike. Right after you posted it, I recall right clicking on the word 'image', and then selecting "view image", and it took me to
a Yahoo log-in screen.
Cortney, beautiful work!

Thanks much, Frank, captainmarvel1957, and ARGumshoe for your kind words on my paintings!...much appreciated by me who's usually bent over a hot easel all
day in my little studio. It's excitin' to think that right now as I type these words in the East, they may be filming my paintings out there in the
west. I might be able to post a couple more images of two other paintings I did, but first I will have to check with Larry.

We've finished another terrific week on DARK AND STORMY NIGHT. Larry's script is downright hilarious, and each and every one of the cast and crew are
giving it their all to see his vision realized. Here are a few more shots to whet your whistles. I personally have always enjoyed having my whistles whetted...
Jeens the Butler (Bruce French) guides our heroes (Jennifer Blaire, Daniel Roebuck and Dan Conroy) through the halls of treachery and the foyer of fear!
One week to go...unless the Cavinder Phantom gets to us first...

Great shots, Frank. Thanks for posting!
Is (are) that (those) the Abbott And Costello Meet Frankenstein chair (s)?! They also remind me of the chair that The Lost Skeleton is sitting in towards the end of The Lost Skeleton Of Cadavra...

Well, I certainly hope Larry's got a catchy little tune for the end credits for this thing...nudge, nudge, wink, wink

Check out the "RETURN OF KOGAR" thread (here in the Independents folder) for a photo report of Bob Burns' visit to the set this week!

Rakshasa wrote:It is indeed. Many of the props and furinture were rented from Universal. We saw the chair as some sort of divine providence, and everyone wanted to sit in it and have their picture taken. Truly a sad day when it went back into storage. Mike S. |

I was well aware that those chairs were at Universal. There are single seats, 2 seater (in our movie) and 3 seaters at the prop house.
I knew one had to be in Larry's movie so I sent pics to our wonderful designer and they tracked it down! |

sketchyfrank wrote: Amen! They are beautiful works of art and also hilarious. But, Cortney, I've got to ask... Was it intentional that one of them strongly resembles Robert Fripp? As a King Crimson fan of many decades, I found that one funniest of all. (Of course, if it was purely accidental or serendipitous, you have no idea which one I'm talking about...) Though I've heard of King Crimson, Mr. Fripp was unknown to me. I wonder if Mr. Fripp would be interested in a portrait with a default likeness? |

Come to think of it: "Robert Fripp Cavinder" sounds quite natural, don't you think?

I don't know how I've missed this thread, but this looks great! I love those old, dark house type movies. And it's fantastic to read about Kogar
getting some business too! Dan Roebuck as well! Can't wait to see this!
