(05/21/08 10:29 PM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite	I have a copy of COMPASS ROSE that I was given to me as a gift by Hal Borske. I wrote about it in detail in my series of Milligan articles for VIDEO WATCHDOG. Wow! One of my favorite DVD commentaries is Borske's candid and hilarious "eye-witness" take on THE GHASTLY ONES, and Milligan in general. A Hal Borske/Tom Weaver commentary for TORTURE DUNGEON would be an instant classic! I know few of Milligan's existing films have had anything remotely resembling a legit DVD release - but any hope for a release of COMPASS ROSE? If you're an Andy Milligan fan there's no hope for you.

Or am I thinking of something else? I'd guess that was THE NAKED WITCH (1964) directed by Larry Buchanan. Same title, same year, different film! Sort of like when we got three different versions of WAR OF THE WORLDS in 2005. FYI: Buchanan's THE NAKED WITCH is available on DVD from Something Weird. If you're an Andy Milligan fan there's no hope for you.

Its certainly in 1965 against the grain as it a somber film in the year of Help. Beach Blanket Bingo and Goldfinger I saw this i believe at the Rex where Vince had a lot of odd low rental films , and you could sometimes find a real gem like Lollipop Cover. Thats not on youtube, but I got to hear My Boy Lollipop!! Johns 10th Purrthday. Am I not one spoiled Cat??????????
