I rarely say "best" about anything, but Bob IS the best friend to fandom there is. Happy birthday to him and I wish him many more to come.

I've worked in the entertainment field since 1981. Bob (and his wonderful wife Kathy) are two of the nicest, kindest, most giving people it has ever been
my pleasure to know. I love them dearly, and treasure our friendship.
In the immortal words of Bud Abbott: "May you live as long as you want - and never want as long as you live." Have a wonderful birthday Bob! Bob Furmanek |

Tabitha just left a voice message for "Uncle Bob" wishing him a happy birthday, as we all do! Bob and Kathy will be back at Wonderfest this year and
at the Classic Movie Monster Con in October.

Happy Birthday to the big Papa Bear of Wonderfest, our favorite Maestro of Monkey Business, and one of the few people we know who can turn any day into a mad

When I see Bob Burns, I feel the same way I used to feel when I'd see Santa Claus. Happy Birthday, Kogar!

The sweetest, kindest, funniest and most generous guy in fandom... or any other "dom" you can think of. Happy Birthday, my friend.

Bob saw and lovvvvves this thread and asked me to send his love to all youse guys. For his birthday, he went to Burbank Airport because a lot of old planes
were going to be on display there, and that's one of his great loves, the old planes. He and Kathy bumped into some people he knew, and the next thing Bob
knew, he was being invited to get aboard a World War II B-17 "Flying Fortress" and fly to Camarillo -- which he did. He says it was one of the big
thrills of his life and a wonderful "birthday present." There are pictures (of course!); I asked Bob to send one to Kerry so that it can be posted.

Here's a photo Bob sent of him and the B-17 he got to go up in. Bob said "The B-17 was my favorite bomber when I was a kid and actually getting to
ride in it was a dream come true." Sounds like a great way to celebrate year 73. Congrats, Bob!
