GhostofChaneysLiver wrote: My dogs are totally unimpressed with my collection. No chewing. I've had some early accidents where Zack's powerful tail knocked over some of my figures on lower shelves, but I have since dog proofed my collection set up. Eventually I'll have built in shelves that have lighting and are glass enclosed. Less dusting and "danger." Dogs are noble, wonderful, and lovable. All three sleep with me. Due to snoring I sleep separately from my wife. The dogs all snore, and they don't mind me. In the winter, I don't even need a blanket.

In the winter, I don't even need a blanket. I own 5 myself, but they are considerably smaller than your guys. All of them sleep with me too. The only drawback is I like to toss and turn a bit in my
sleep. They all wedge up on either side of me which makes changing positions nearly impossible.

Is that the sphere that holds the Phantasm dvds?
If it is I might actually pick one of those suckers up. I don't like the films much, but the sphere IS pretty darn cool. Cromwell |

The LBH Metaluna Mutant? It looks pretty bent? Is it broken? (I hope not.)
Mine above, yours below. I feel my Mummy and Wolfman heads are bent too low, but I worried about breaking them. I may try to use a blow dryer and heat it up before adjusting the positioning.

Thanks all! So fun to share my "stuff" with you all.
Thanks Helen. Yeah, I got that Phantasm clock at a Monster Mania convention in Cherry Hill, NJ about seven or eight years ago. Isn't that silver sphere disc set great?! Oh! The JAWS statue thingy was widely available here in the states several years ago. You can probably find 'em on e-Bay under Sideshow Toys and Jaws. Ghost, the Phantasm sphere set is awesome, but just know that it's in PAL format only, so you'll need an all-region player to watch 'em. It's my favorite DVD set. Ton's of extras ONLY available on the discs in this set. OneEye, my Metaluna Mutant's head is just twisted like that on purpose. You can twist some of the Little Big Heads' arms and heads. Cool Predator figure, BTW!

Why not, here is a portion of the many piles and shelves of "junk" (as my wife calls it) littering the house as we speak.A lot has gone the way of the
dodo in order to save for a house which we are currently shopping for and much is boxed and piled in the spare room that i am sure most people find a lot of
their undisplayed stuff situated. A quick rundown and brief descriptions (if necessary)...
Some randomness that fit best up high, the Matango was a gift from my wife and the 1 1/2 ft Ultra 7 in the background is one of my favorite pieces of prime nerdery that i own. The Mattel Godzilla used to belong to my friend in the 70s and when he outgrew it,he gave it to me and i have it to this day.
Shogun Warriors were the greatest toys of the 70s and i didn't have many due to my parents limited income. Now that i am an adult,i FINALLY have a set of the toy line i coveted most as a child. I will gracefully bow out of collecting the Japanese originals because i can't afford $ 1000-4000 a piece for robot toys haha.
I grew up on violent pro wrestling of the 70s and early 80s and loved it as much as i loved horror films. Seems if you were a fan of both, your Saturdays were one long wonderful absurd TV marathon. Many of these i bought in Japan but on my next adventure i am forsaking these and concentrating strictly on Toho stuff.
Harryhausen and monster mishmash along with the awesome ANGRY RED PLANET ratbatspider figure that came out a few years ago,a definite monster toy must have.
Lots and lots of Tsuburaya goodness (with some Gamera thrown in)
Modern horror,Universal monsters,TIGER MASK characters,Japanese yokai,Hideshi Hino monstrosities and even Mr Miyagi thrown in the mix for you sharp eyes readers.
Larger collector figures...the INFRAMAN figure is hands down the greatest action figure ever made and my favorite toy created to date. You couldn't make a more perfect likeness if you tried, right down to the removable darts on his stomach.
A small mound of random signed nonsense...Rudy Ray Moore signed 7",Johnny Ramone signed pick, Abdullah the Butcher signed fork, barbed wire from Onita's retirement death match, vomit bags and other signed stuff.
Where most of the excess money has been going for the past 10 years or more. Rabid DVD buying at its worst. Never at a loss for something to watch however, since i really don't care for 99% of what is on TV at any given time. My daughter has a pretty decent library to pour over when she is old enough...that is,if she cares at all haha. |

Great stuff Spoiler!
Hopefully when you get your house you'll be able to devote a whole room to your "junk"...uh, I mean collection.
We'd all love to see photos of that once you get situated. Also, I spent 15 minutes scanning your photos for the bat-rat-spider creature (like a "Where's Waldo" puzzle) until I figured out that one photo must not have downloaded. Could you post that one? I curious to see it, since I was unaware that anyone put out a figure of that one. Cromwell |

Wow! You folks have some mighty impressive toys there! My toy collection is fairly modest. My real pride and joy WAS an assortment of Famous Monster Magazines
(that I bought in the early 90's at a Sci-Fi convention for the price of $1.50 each),a 1966 calander featuring Don Post's mask's,a postcard sent
and signed by Bob Wilkins, and an autograph by (!) Alfred Hitchcock himself. Unfortunately, while they were in storage,my dad threw away my entire
collection (which also included many E.C. Horror comics,MAD magazines, and Batman collectibles). Talk about a tough pill to swallow. To preserve my sanity,I try
not to think about it...but OUCH!!!
Live fast.Die young.Leave a good looking corpse ...

Johnny Staccato wrote: I always think about a MAD magazine paperback i had as a kid that i got from some school mate. Inside the cover there was a personalized note to someone
(whose name escapes me) but the note mentioned him being the skipper of some goofily named vessel and thanking him for helping him in some situation. The note
was signed William Gaines and i have ZERO idea how it wound up in this kids possession in my small sleepy NY town. The sad part is the book vanished years and
years ago and i really have no idea what happened to it. At that age i had no clue about Gaines role in the EC comics i would later discover. Still bothers
me,wondering where that damn book went!
