Pat, your Walking Dead portrait reminds me of the many different and oh so strange Karloff hairstyles, haircuts, hairdoos, wigs, whatever. I'm thinking
that no other horror star of the post-silent era sported such a variety of looks from the forehead up. It's fun to be able to instantly identify the
Karloff movie by looking at the hair--or, in the case of TOWER OF LONDON, the lack of it.
I think your portraits are world class, Pat. ZD |

Three oils by Zombie Mom of our favorite vacation spot, Cape Hatteras/Outer Banks of North Carolina. Of course, this was when we used to be able to afford
vacations.

Puts me in the mind of the afternoon I spent there and got stung by jellyfish---twice. Very nice.

I recently did this one of Patrick Magee as the leader of the blind men in the Amicus film, TALES FROM THE CRYPT.

ZD, ZM's seascapes are great use of color and texture! What framing did she decide to use on them?
I decided to try pencil......... I don't know, I think I'll stick to what I've been doing it's easier for me to get the look I want I think. Pat you're a whiz with graphite!

Karen, ZM's seascapes have wood frames which show the wood grain and are somewhat driftwood-ish. Each of these paintings is only 8'' x
10'' without the frames!
I'll make sure that ZM reads your comments. Thanks! And the horse is exquisite! ZD

So, inspired by all of the works that I keep seeing here on the Board I did something last night I haven't done in years. I picked up a pencil and did
a new sketch. It's rough, so be kind. I found that since I'd been away from a pencil and paper for awhile that the prospect was a bit intimidating.
The vampire is a bit of an amalgamation of the 1920 classic, the Klaus Kinski remake, and the vampire from Salem's Lot---I think.

Great work, Cap! Love the originality of ol Nossie's amalgamated look. Harriet, well, she's simply adorable.
