On another board someone was looking for a long time for a 1960s movie with a rather grisly scene. I stumbled upon this movie (I hadn't seen it) but the person couldn't confirm the movie based on what was on youtube. Two weeks later I noticed it was on Antenna TV so watched it for the first time yesterday. It suffers from William Castle's usual stodgy direction, but this is a pretty good Psycho type movie, the best written of Castle's collaborations with Rob White, with an ending that had me fooled even though I caught a bit of it. If just a slightly better director, like Freddy Francis, had made it, it would probably be better known. I could have done without the gimmicky Fright Break. One of the actresses looked familiar and I finally connected her with a Twilight Zone episode with William Shatner.
