For you fellow Anglophiles who subscribe to Acorn TV they're now airing an original series called Loch Ness. It's all about a gruesome serial killer in a sleepy little village on the shores of the loch. Naturally the spirit of Nessie (if not the monster itself) hovers over the town.
It's a nifty little Scottish detective mystery with the usual assortment of small town suspicious characters, with the whole Loch Ness theme thrown in to keep things unique and interesting. A big plus for me is how the town politics and family melodramas are well incorporated into the main plot revolving about the search for the killer . . . and the suspiciously plesiosaur-looking whatsit corpse that has washed up on shore from the depths of the loch.
