I've seen marvel movies that make marvelites pee their pants and I go "meh . . . . what's so great about that?"
Now I see a marvel movie that is making a lot of marvelites go "meh..."

I guess if Ant-Man can find an audience I suppose a half-naked dude with six-packs has a chance. One for the ladies, y'know? But back to "Dr Strange", the most heavily visualized movie I've ever seen. Here we have our intrepid heroes ( and villains ) who can cross space-time trajectories. Yet, in the end, how do they fight? Yup. Fisticuffs! I find great humor in that alone.

I'm not going to dig through all 22 pages of this but did anyone else notice the MCU continuity is now totally screwed up because of this film?
This was not going to be an origin movie but at some point that changed, okay no big deal. Except...
They mention Stephen Strange being a threat to hydra in Winter Soldier...
Okay so this takes place before Winter Soldier, but wait...
The clearly reference Civil War and War Machine getting his back broken.
So did they just hope everyone forgot the mention in Winter Soldier?
Why insert the reference to War Machine, just set this in the past and not break continuity?
Hmmm maybe they intentionally broke continuity since much of the plot of this film involves manipulating time is this an intentional mistake that might not be a mistake at all.

REsponding to the Strange/Winter Soldier timeline, there is supposedly a definitive Marvel film timeline, so without checking I would wonder if Strange had his powers at the time of Winter Soldier.

As for the line from Winter Soldier, Stephen Strange was mentioned in regard to an algorithm that was able to identify FUTURE threats. In other words, he was just a world renowned surgeon at the time.

The guys following Stan went TOO operatic with their faux-Stan writing! Namor was a sharper character with Everett, than when recast as Macbeth!
