Just want to show how "Pukey the Pumpkin" has flattered me over at the "Horror Drunx" site (click on image to enlarge): Hey, I'd have a beer with Schlitze anyday! And now I'm lumped in with men of dubious character like Ted Newsom, Latarnia, Taraco, Bobtheman, and others! What a distinction! It makes me belligerent to other people. Should I ever take up the habit again, I'll blend right in with certain board moderators/members of another horror board. Too bad they're giving other members a bad name. I want a stage name, too! Actually I'd considering using one as a musician.JOHNNY STACCATO was the particular name I chose. That is until I learned that it was already a T.V. show. Oh well... Have any of you folks discovered any lost movies lately? It's been on my to-do list for some time--just haven't got around to it... Anyways .....My report on my first day of searching for the Lugosi Frankenstein test footage.... I decided to scope out G. Nook's house..... No beware of dog sign...Just a Slomans Shield thingy on the lawn...so far so good..... I knocked on the door....An elderly man's voice replied without opening the door and the conversation went like this.... Nook: "Who is it?" Me: "Hi, I'm from the CHFB, and I'd like to speak to you for a moment about Bela Lugosi." Nook: "We're not voting for him, we're Republicans." Me: "No, no, I'm looking for the Frankenstein test footage." Nook: "The Stein's? They live two door down." (Elderly woman's voice) : "Is it the Witnesses again?" Nook: (Aside)"Shhh.....No, it's somebody from the FBI looking for the Stein's. Me: "No, you misunderstand....." Nook: "We don't wanna get involved! Leave us alone!" I left with the feeling they knew more than they were letting on....The search continues....... Remakes do suck and I prefer wine, Herr Newsom.... ......working on that Pariah merit-badge.....
