Ah yes. This site is where I found that sphoto of Basil horsing around with his make-up man. Which in turn led others to identify said make-up man as Otto
Lederer. Which then helped to bullseye Lederer as the Mystery Man in that infamous Son of Frankenstein gag photo w/Karloff.

Definitely give that a read. He writes about his experiences in WW I. He accidently stepped on a rotting body and had to throw his boots away is one story.
