Question about converting files

Do any of you guys know how to convert a ram. file to another file, lets say a MPEG-4 file?

The reason I'm asking is because I have a bunch of ram files that I saved on my hard drive back in the early 2000's that I would like to convert. I'm having problems playing anything with my real player nowadays. So I would like to be able to play these files other media players like my Nero Showtime.

There are several free video converters online you can try. Here is one I use:

http://apps.foxtab.com/videoconverter/

I don't know if it supports ram files but the download is free.
