I'm green with envy. I love that serial and it annoys the heck out of me that it looks so Poverty Row because of the quality of every print (and home video version) I've seen.

I don`t like serials but I agree with Tom, that is a jim dandy fight. I was annoyed that they kept cutting away to the plane.

With the four pathetic leads and the absolute ridiculous casting of Johnny Arthur as Sakima, The Masked Marvel succeeds only due to the action packed nature. The voice work of Gayne Whitman as The MM seems not to get the credit it deserves.

Bela, THE MASKED MARVEL is one of the slickest and fastest moving serials ever made. Like what was said above, the four suspects are pitiful, but who watches serials for the acting?
