Checking in, as said trial has begun, and Sandusky has lived to see it. Now that testimony on the stand has begun, would anyone care to defend this disgusting pedophile and his enablers again?

Considering how other inmates tend to treat pedophiles, Sandusky will get his if he is in the general population. Perhaps, though, he may never live to see a trial.

All I can say is that if I saw such an evil thing (and child rape is evil with a capital E in my view) the police would've taken me to jail. I would've tried my damndest to bash Sandusky's pedophile brains in.

Exactly. Again, the witness was no kid himself - he was a strapping man of 28. The common sense sequence: 1. Exclaim "What the HELL are you doing?" to the "Coach." 2. Get the kid safely in hand. 3. Call the police.

I've actually been pleasantly surprised by the reaction on ESPN, various websites, the radio, etc....it's almost totally in favor of Paterno's firing, and demanding justice for the victims, and questioning why this was allowed to go on the way it did.

McQueary actually did what he was supposed to do. He immediately reported what he saw to his superiors. I don`t believe he should be fired over it.
