        <![CDATA[ I'm going to sound like a dummy, but I never got a good explination to interlaced vs progressive.&nbsp; I am ashamed to say I don't know anything about it.&nbsp; I take it progressive is better for some reason.&nbsp; I have progressive and interlace settings on my DVD recorder and I really do not know what to do with them.&nbsp; ]]>

			<description><![CDATA[ with interlace, you sometimes get "jaggies" or "stairs" (like the pixels are blocky).
