As I mentioned in a post a few months ago, I got my copy of RETURN from Cinema Classics and I'm very pleased with the quality. A lot nicer than I expected it to be.

I have the RiffTrax VOODOO MAN, and it's pretty good. Is RETURN anywhere out there on DVD in as good a shape? I don't have Netflix.

That VOODOO has got some lines and wear, Bob, but it's the best I've ever seen (though not as good as TCM's THE APE.) -Craig

Joe, thanks for the heads-up on that RiffTrax release of VOODOO MAN; somehow that slipped by me! (If the same person/company owns both VOODOO MAN and RETURN OF THE APE MAN, I'd be up for a double feature DVD release.)

Another thing that struck me while I was watching VM was how much Ed Woods horror films look like the Lugosi Monograms, right down to the set design and lighting. Imagine! Somebody actually trying to emulate Willy "One Shot"!
