<![CDATA[ In 1953, Basil Rathbone starred on Broadway in "Sherlock Holmes" -- not the William Gillette play but a new one by Rathbone's wife Ouida. Famously (or infamously) it only lasted 3 performances. Thomas Gomez co-starred as Moriarty and other characters involved were Dr. Watson, Inspector Lestrade, Irene Adler and Mrs. Hudson. Has anyone ever read the play? I'm wondering if it exists. ]]>
