Watched this based on the comments here. This was really fun! The wings even flap on that thing, instead of just yanking it up and down on a string like so many poverty vampire bats fly. Now that is high tech!

Not that I know of. Sam Sherman thinks so much of the serpent's flying scenes (not the serpent itself, but the way it flies) that he thinks it has to be the work of one or both of the Lydeckers, picking up a few extra bucks with no screen credit.

I enjoy the film- one of my favorite Poverty Rows. Now, I won't even bother to argue the weaknesses of the film because there are many, just like another favorite of mine, MAD MONSTER. I still enjoy it.

Pretty poor film, derivative of The Devil Bat. George Zucco is first rate, which makes him stand out like a sore thumb - and why was his character keeping the gold instead of spending it? He's wasn't gonna get any younger!
