Yes Joe seems like anytime I decide to buy the boots of some unreleased film an official release of the film is announced

Good for you, Luis! Buy 'em all on DVD-R! Besides, that's the best way to make sure they DO get officially released somewhere down the line (ever notice how that's always they way once you finally break down and buy the boots?).

I don't want to speak too soon, but I've never had any troubles with the Universal Legacy DVDs either... only the Lugosi Collection and Hammer Collection.

I would rather buy official releases because not just are they better looking but usually cost less but since the suits at Universal want to sit on the remaining titles I've decided I can't wait any longer and ordered up several bootlegs for now.

Maybe, maybe not. Bottom line is, fans aren't going to sit around waiting forever to get the films they want. I've had unofficial copies of films like NIGHT KEY until Universal finally put it out as part of their Karloff collection, and I gladly retired my murky 16mm version.

We have been told that there will be no classic horror titles released this fall. OK, then what titles ("modern" I guess) do you suppose Universal WILL release for Halloween? Or will they just skip any kind of Halloween promotion altogether?
