        <![CDATA[ Sometimes one might get the feeling hanging around here that all we ever do is go to work, watch movies and post comments on the CHFB. I&#39;m sure that&#39;s
not the case at all -- that most here do interesting things in their off time.


I my case, I HAVE been guilty of being a couch potato of late. My one and only New Years Resolution this year has been to get out of the house more, do things,
take a bigger bite out of that apple calle life.

			<description><![CDATA[ Thanks Rats, it really sucks he&#39;s only 44. But can I take a vacation from life now? Apparently Cuddles didn&#39;t get any of her pills while we were in the
hospital and her heart stopped at the vet yesterday but they got her going again. Her potassium was so high their machines wouldn&#39;t read it after 2 hours
of fluids it was 9 and needs to be a 3. So now I have a $2000 vet bill on top of the hospital bills. I can&#39;t win. I started trying to sell animal portraits
on my dog and horse... ]]></description>

<p> Jessie thanks but 2 hours after I wrote that he was back in the hospital. We JUST got home. He&#39;s got another cat scan next week for the lung nodules, a
different dose and blood pressure pill, an upped dose of insulin, more restrictive diet and an eye appointment because now he can&#39;t see... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ My life now is caring for and feeding my 10 Found Cats and doing my best with the Animal Welfare Association and Help a Furry Friend to catch and rehome some
of the poor strays who come here for food.

Sometimes we can like Phillip who was eating out of the tins in the blue box.
<br>
Other times they are too il , and have to be released from thier pain and suffering.
<br>
It can be frustrating but rewarding as well when they do find Furr Ever Homes where they are loved. ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Well wrote the house ost and then went to the hospital with hubby and just got back. He has pancreatitis, diabetes diagnosed while there, a fatty alcoholic
liver and never drinks, a dead thyroid and nodules on his lungs and we don&#39;t smoe anything of any kind. 4 days fighting with nurses really sucks plus the
fact that after $15,000 in tests and the stay and more procedures and no insurance, they wanted him to stay another week. He&#39;s home after he threatened to
just walk out. So much... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Geez you guys have been busy! We picked out cherry cabinets and saved $3000 by going with maple boxes (who sees the back and insides of a cabinet with the door
shut???), hand picked 2000 sq feet of red pine in 8 inch and 10 inch wide pieces for flooring, ordered dark tung oil an custom cast iron railings for the
stairs. Great to have friends with bar stock and welders! Picked out appliances and for once Home Depot was cheapest. Shocking. Picked out paint colors,
colonial red under the chair... ]]></description>
