Does anyone involved with this website have the contacts, or knowledge first hand to find out if the films that James Nicholson's estate,
or widow or whatever can be released to DVD format? I have tried to email Susan Hart or ? , with no response. I think the remaining
AIP films are some best of Corman, and Herman Cohen's werewolf film rivals the Lon Chaney jr. hit. I watched all these films when first
released in the 50's, oh well.

20 Million Miles to Earth - Fullscreen vs Widescreen

Question: Since the fullscreen image of this particular film obviously contains everything that the widescreen image does, plus more image at the top and bottom, isn't it true that the prints shown in theaters was the fullscreen image with the upper and lower portoins cropped off to make it fit the movie screens?

I've been criticized on another message board for suggesting that the "widescreen" was a cropped version of the fullscreen. The critics seem to think...

Although it's a guilty pleasure now, this movie scared the hell out of me in 1957.
The horrible wrinkled visage of the unfortunate Natalie (Sally Todd) haunted my dreams over several nights as did the frozen features of Jedrow (Harry Fleer).
Was anyone else frightened by this film ?
Also, if anyone can tell me, I would love to know where the film was shot. It apppears that many interior and exterior scenes were done at an actual house.

Watching the Shadow on the Window (nice movie so far) on TCM right now and I noticed the intro with Petey wandering the highway to be very similar to the opening of Them. Anyone else ever notice this?

Had to pull this one out this afternoon while I was lunging at home. I love it. It is such a classic fun movie. It really is my favorite of their movies. The Mardi Gras scene is priceless, and so is the trip to Venus when the gravity is all messed and up they are talking weird. And who doesn't love the Planet of Women!? The Queenw as an amzing looking woman. She kinda remindas me of Kim Catrell. Nice legs!

Is this version any good? I always hear about the other versions as being good in one respect or goodf in another, but I've never even talked to anybody who has seen the 1956 version with Anthony Quinn and Gina Lollabridgeda.

Yahoo! movies reminds us that the world is passing our beloved beasties by! In a big internet "photospread," they are offering us "The Good, the Bad, and the Slimy: 20 Great Movie Creatures." Other than skeletons from JASON AND THE ARGONAUTS, King Kong, Godzilla, and flying monkeys from THE WIZARD OF OZ, everything else is, of course, more contemporary. I hope the Creature From the Black Lagoon isn't surfing the web -- he'd probably be very disappointed....
