I saw this once, when I was about 5.
I have vague memories of liking it, but can't honestly recall if it's any good.
Judging from the trailer, it's pretty safe to say that I'm glad things like this are made, whether they're good or not. The gunshot sound effects and mad cackling? Crazy, random, nonsensical... I love it.

Apparently, this film stars Gunsmoke's Amanda Blake as a new kind of Robinson Crusoe, which IMDB describes as an adventure comedy. Unfortunately, not alot of information about it other than the fact that it exists.

This Saturday, November 14, marks the 60th anniversary of the start of production on DESTINATION MOON. Yup ... as of Saturday, our beloved '50s sci-fi and horror flicks are going to start "turning 60."

When I was a kid, starting to watch all this stuff on TV, the Lugosi DRACULA was about 35. Now movies like DESTINATION MOON, THE THING, etc., are soon to turn 60.

Sigh.

I finally picked up that 10 movie set from Universal of 1950's movies including "Mole People", Monolith Monsters, etc. I had most of those on VHS or AVI files but now I feel better having this set on DVD!! A subgenre that's become a real favorite of mine lately is the 1950's cliche of the film featuring a group of teenagers whose antics are interrupted by the appearance of a horrible monster of some sort, which they have to defeat after failing to get the local adults to listen to them. I'm thinking of things like Earth Vs. The Spider, The Giant Gila Monster, etc.

anyone (other than me) sat through Frankenstein's Daughter? pure 50's teenage camp, similar to Teenage Frankenstein. Its in the so bad, its entertaining category. You know your in trouble when about a 10min musical segment is slotted at 1 hour into the movie. isnt filler scenes supposed to be before the story develops?
