Problems Editing Posts

Anyone else having problems editing?

I tried to make a few edits and instead of seeing what I have previously written I see nothing, nada, a blank post as if I had deleted everything and need to retype it all, so I don't bother saving the edit since I don't care to retype an entire message again.

Limitations on uploading photos?

I was recently told how to upload photos by using the little pictorial icon in the message menu. This worked very well--until I apparently reached an unspeccified and hence unknown size limit. Now when I try to post a photo, even when I create another album, I am told there is no more space left. Okay, so maybe I should clean out an album--but I can't seem to do that, either. Does anyone know anything about this stuff?

I'm new here, and there was a huge disruption here a coupla years back.
A bunch of people from then are gone now, only labeled as "Unregistered".

What am I doing wrong? I downloaded an Avatar and it shows up on my Yuku profile, but does not show up on the MCHF board next to my name.

What Am I Doing Incorrectly re Updating Account Info?

I opened my account, added an image, added a signature, saved same, and can't get 'em to come up. I tried logging out then logging back in but still nothing.

Some of the topic summaries get twisted out of shape whenever someone with (sometimes through no fault of their own) a long handle (i.e., BudFrump.antiestablishmentarian.com) gets into the "last post" or "started by" column. Yuku really ought to fix their display program to truncate or line-break these names instead of adjustong everything else to fit. And, of course, they should have logic to keep oversized pictures and/or long lines without spaces to distort...

Just a note that we are being spammed by someone promoting something called Deadtone. The posts look like someone slightly clueless is posting legit questions in the wrong forums. But a second look at the content and pattern (including posting in Final Farewells) show it clearly to be spam. I don't know about you but fer the past few weeks the gray control bar beneath the banner is blank. If you put your cursor in the right spot you'll be able to click to where you'd like to go, but it's just annoying to me. Anyone else have this problem ?

I wish I could capture this onscreen but I'll do it the hard way. After I make a post in a thread it is extremely difficult to return to the topic. For example as this current post is laid out above the New Topic box there are two links:"Classic Horror Film Board" & "Discuss Yuku Issues Here". Once I make a post those two links just vanish. Possible IE 8.0 Vista 64-bit conflict issues with some Yuku functions

After installing Internet Explorer 8.0 (Vista) for computers with 64-bit architecture I ran into some problems with the Yuku platform. It apparently rendered the photo (both yuku and photobucket) posting buttons inoperable. The Flash video embed utility also would not work. Rather than try and fight the configuration I uninstalled the program and allowed my previous version of IE to reinstall as my default browser.

Just now, while trying to access a thread on Zardoz, I got a pop-up PW dialogue box saying something about deboerio.net access restricted and wanting me to enter a handle and a PW. Of course I did not. I merely closed the box and came here. First a post appearing in the wrong forum, then a thread disappearing, and now this.

Am I the only one this strangeness is happening to?

Anyone know what happened to. . .

My thread in the off-topic forum "What are your views on Erotica vs Porn?" There was the germ of a serious discussion starting there last I checked. You can still find a link to the thread in my profile (http://monsterkidclassichorrorforum.yuku.com/topic/24143) but it just returns an error.

There wasn't anything remotely offensive in, or about, that post so I can't imagine it...
